Is not being able to place traps next to the exit gates a bug?

I was playing the new updated Autohaven Wreckers Map, and towards the end of the game, I tried to place traps at the exit gates, but I couldn't place any at both for within 8m or so. It might be a weird not flat ground bug or a feature, idk.

sounds like a bug that came with the Twins feature of not being able to use their power there?
i report a bug with screenshots/short video. Maybe if you can recreate it in KYF
