Trap Door Not Appearing

i was in a match with Victor just now, I am 100% sure i am next to the trap door, the sound, but i cant find it anywhere, im not a noob killer as i have over 3k hours in the game, me and the survivor failed to find it and now hes taking the game hostage by hiding...
