Killers shouldn't play ring a round the rosie
As my title states, nothing is more infuriating than survivors doing that round and round an object thing to no end. Like, are you really actually having fun doing that??
To get back on topic: I think to offset that crap. Killers should be able to jump across the object after a few times around.

I mean, are Survivors supposed to just run in a straight line?

This is hide and go seek tag.
We hide, then run.
If you don't like loops, play a killer that can cut them off.

That's.....that's their like....only and primary means of defense xD
You just asked if you could just always win every game easily forever basically.

Yeah bro! I can't agree more, how dare survivors use loops in order to survive! Those toxic players should just run in a straight line, or better yet just stay still as we down them! Screw it, just take out all the pallets and vaults in the map and make ebony mori basekit!

So do you want survivors to stand still and let you kill them? Better yet hide and drag out the game? Cant tell if this is b8

Looping is literally the core gameplay of DbD. The maps are designed around it. Older maps are having their tiles reworked to encourage skillful play. The only chasing alternative to looping is running forward in a straight line. And if you enjoy that gameplay, I suggest you just burn a bunch of Gideon and Midwich offerrings.

If stealth was actually rewarded and worthwhile to use, maybe Survivors wouldn't have become so god-tier at looping on the whole. There's a reason lockers are usually only used by Dwights and people with something to abuse.

Please tell me you're shitposting. If you're dead serious, my dude, just end the chase and find a survivor that is working on a gen if you know you don't have the change. Ending looping, is just not only going to disbalance the game, but also take away the chances of survivors to escape at all. If you just want to kill people with your own will, I heard the sims is still being sold.

It is silly, I agree, that and outrunning the killer for long periods of time, but that's the major defense for survivors.
I just wish it felt more like "run, #########, ruuuuuun!" Instead of "lolz! I want to be chased!"
Not sure what else a survivor could do but run in a line and die which is equally dumb, but more movie-esque. At least survivors don't randomly trip on stuff, or break heels, or some such.
Breaking line of sight, and hiding isn't all that great of an option most times. I wish it were though.
If someone is eating up your time in loops, then start to ignore them. Odds are they're the bodyguard of the group, and you're doing what they want.
Other people may be weaker at chases.

Funnily enough, just running in a straight line is shockingly effective.

Loops can be pretty mindless sometimes...but it is the main mechanic by which survivors avoid killers and some tile chaining requires a decent level of attention from survivors to pull off. There are plenty of killers that can deal with loops.
Doctor shuts them down.
Freddy and Clown prevent them from going on for too long.
Slinger and Huntress shoot over them.
Pyramid Head has an option select and hits through things.
Nurse goes through stuff.
Spirit can mindgame any tile.
Hag doesn't need to go on chases at all, she just places traps.
I honestly find survivors that just hold W a lot worse than loopers....at least loopers, *sometimes* try to outplay you. W key survivors literally just shut their brain off and abuse the fact you catch up very slowly. For those, I recommend Blight.

Ironically there are some survivor that agree with you... They argued that because when dbd first came out looping wasn't really a thing it isn't really a core mechanic. Therefore, they shouldn't have to learn how to loop and the devs need to make it easier to stealth, stop removing pallets and stop removing windows. So... Maybe you'd enjoy that more.

just running is the best answer to pyramid head / deathslinger, run to some walls aaaand....well jsut run past, bit of luck the killer thinks you are in there for a few seconds and boom, gained some ground while the rest slams gens.

If you want to get rid of that (aka looping) you might need to invent time travel and go back to stop it becoming an adopted form of emergent gameplay that the devs balance maps around nowadays. There's a reason they talk about parameters like "tile safety" sometimes when discussing tile generation and map design, lol. And can't really blame them there. Most players seem to enjoy chases more than pure searching/hiding.
Not saying there's nothing that should be done. Truly mindless loops with no LOS blockers at all are boring for everyone involved IMO, but "stun the killer or get hit" loops shouldn't be the only thing either.

The obvious answer is to remove the ability of survivors to run or crawl. Make it so they can only walk at all times. While they are at it they can just reward survivors for letting you kill them and then you can be happy because you will always win.

It honestly sounds like you should play a different game my dude. Friday the 13th might be a good choice.

You're about 4 years too late for this post.
The game is all about chases and chases are all about looping.

Now I’m no great killer by any stretch, but here’s what works for me.
The clicky-clicky looper wants you to chase them to buy time for the others. Don’t let the bait you. Ignore them and look for others. They need the baiter because they’re typically weaker runners. If you chase on the baiter’s terms, you’ll never hit them. If you force them into your terms (ie protect teammate, try to body block, rescue from hook), them you’ve put them in a non-ideal situation and will likely get a hit or even a down.
You can also chase someone else and then suddenly spin around and hit them. You’ll hear footsteps behind you as they chase after you, along with the occasional clicky.
Now if the whole team is untouchable, then just walk around and pretend to lose them in chases. Let them enjoy their gen repair simulator. (If you stop moving, then they stop working and come to dance for you). Open the gate ASAP and move on to the next match.

I don't use this term lightly but...
get good. I agree it isn't fun, but what the hell are survivors supposed to do??

Get good. These posts complaining about looping are absolutely hilarious to me.
