EGC suggestion to make it fairer for last survivor

As we all know, if all survivors but one die and the killer closes the hatch the survivor has very little chance of escaping unless the gates spawn far apart.

I suggest that, if the gates remain closed and the hatch is closed, and the time runs out an emergency hatch spawns under the feet of the survivor instead of the entity claiming them. Either the entity blocks all lockers from being entered or the survivor gives away their location if outside of the terror radius after 15 seconds of hiding in a locker, this avoids abusing lockers to get the hatch.

I am 100% sure that I am not the only one who has been chased for most, if not all, of the end game collapse and ultimately died at the end of it which is unfair for any survivor.

Before people complain about another survivor main wanting the game easier I would like to say I mostly play killer. I have been playing survivor whilst the bugs the twins chapter brought in get fixed and have realised how unfair this is. The gates are too rng based, they should always spawn at opposite ends of the map but more often then not they spawn too close together, often in an extremely short travelling distance making escape impossible.

Edit* took tldr out as I think some of these replies only read that and not the whole post.

Why the Killer must be punished if he accomplished his objective to kill all survivors?

If you are the last survivor and theres still gens to do, you failed your objective. And even after that, the game allows you another chance to escape via Hatch, which is a stupid mechanic and should be removed.

Sorry but just no. As a survivor if you reach egc as final survivor you have had your chances. You failed to do the gens, you failed to get hatch. If you DO manage to get out in EGC good for you! But it's not something that should be guaranteed or even likely.

A lot of things in the game are RNG based. Survivors can pull keys out of chests. Sometimes the hatch spawns right under the last survivor, sometimes the killer finds it first. Sometimes the gates are right next to each other and sometimes they're far apart.

Right now the hatch is very generous to survivors. Even if they don't finish all five gens, it rewards them as much as getting out through the exit gate. The hatch is necessary to prevent a survivor holding the killer hostage forever, but if three survivors die and the last survivor is unable to use any of the multiple means given to them to escape, then the killer either did well or RNG happened to be in their favor. There will be plenty of times RNG is in the survivor's favor to make up for it.

...Soo you want a guaranteed free escape after already getting and failing a RNG-based free escape chance, in other words. Are you that entitled, or do you genuinely think getting a second free pass is fair, on top of the potential of bringing a key to negate the Killer closing the first hatch?

    No.

The Survivor(s) failed to complete their primary objective (generators) and on top of that, have a chance to escape the game through the hatch mechanic.

If you're in a situation where the EGC has begun and your the last survivor running from the Killer, you got considerably outplayed and deserve to die.

Imagine if Killers just got a free kill, the equivalent of the hatch mechanic, there would be uproar, you already have too much.

EGC isn't really concerned with being fair to one side or the other, it exists to make the match end. Sometimes gates are close, sometimes they're far apart - either way once it begins it puts an upper limit to how much longer the match can last which is its purpose.

OK, enough of the backlash, as I said I am a killer main but can see the other side as I have been playing survivor lately.

Why must a good solo player, not me because I'm not a good survivor and just got lucky with a bad killer player, who can run the killer in circles for 2 minutes during egc be punished because their team mates could not loop and went down every 10 seconds. The good survivor did everything they could do and then tried to get the killers attention until he/she noticed the survivor was a stronger looper and broke chase to get the weaker ones, then gets killed to egc. Is that fair to the remaining survivor? It should only happen when egc starts with one survivor left, not 2, 3 or all 4. Why should the killer get a free sacrifice when they are being outplayed for most, if not all, of the end game collapse? Should the killer get an easy sacrifice because the gates spawned on the same wall? Or maybe because they put a trap there to notify them, once again stopping an escape. Maybe a bubba face camped 2 survivors the whole game and downed another with noed before the gates opened, hooking them between 2 gates and near the hatch. All gens done, objective complete then die to egc. If the killer is good enough he would catch them before the egc ends, if not why should the killer get the points for it since survivors struggle for points more than killers do. It's easier to get the bbq stacks than it is to get the unhooks.

I am wondering how many killer mains flamed me in these replies. At least make it a draw, no sacrifice, no escape, half the bp of a sacrifice/escape is awarded to both at the end of the egc if the survivor is still alive.
