Honestly they should just make DS so it doesn't proc when grabbed from something (lockers, unhooks) and it deactivates after working on a gen. That's the abuseable part of it.
DS shouldn't promote a playstyle which allows survivors to intentionally get downed so they can get away easier.
If you jump in a locker, save someone from a hook, or start working on a gen, DS deactivates. Still a good perk but can't be abused anymore. It'd then be strictly to counter tunneling.

Every time I take DS off I get tunneled harder, especially if there's not a single obsession in the game. If there's no obsession you can bet the Killer will be going for the unhooked survivor every time.

lmao no offense but that sounds like something a wolf in sheep's skin would say to try and make up for the mori annihilation. it was hella overkill, but just saying this sounds like something a killer would say afterwards lol. On solo survivor I'll always run DS now and aim for a pallet or good spot to lose them after the stun when I know I'm gonna go down. Always DS now, except when burning keys on a survivor that I didn't have it on yet, and will be burning through all of my purple and pink keys until they've had all the fun left in them since in about a couple of months they're gonna get the axe too (probably not nearly as bad as moris did).
After that I won't touch killers ever again except to afk or semi afk them tapping the attack while watching tv to burn through rift level xp faster than the 20+ minute queues I expect to have on survivor. I won't actually 'play' the killers though, I'll just have BP perks like thrill and devious on while running around all over or standing in place tapping the attack key since I expect to be able to swing 4 or 5 rounds of rift xp that way int he time I could take finding just one lobby as even a solo survivor soon. Once the rift I paid for is burnt through I won't buy another one again unless all of it's challenges are survivor challenges since I am survivor only now. If they don't like that then tough schiff they can put AI Bot killers in the game then or clean up the messes they keep making.

The latest patch notes announced the changes to moris. They will require the survivor to be hooked twice in order to mori them.

It's good and it's bad.
Good that killers can't tunnel the first person off the hook and get an easy kill.
Bad that they are kinda useless now and keys have not been touched.
