I'm so tired of trying to enjoy the low tier killers and getting stomped because I'm not running a sweaty build.

It was so much better with per killer MMR.

Was that ever fully implemented? I thought it only was only gathering data before?

No it was up once for like a day or two and then I took it down cuz it wasn't working properly for everyone. It worked a terrible for my hunter's but works great for my play those are the only two characters I got to test it on before they took it down

I would like to be able to try and practice Nurse or Huntress without being stomped on, but I'd rather them evolve it more before fully implementing it.

No it was. And it needed some more work. I got completely stuck at rank 10 if I played only Doctor cuz it had decided I'm a good Doctor and would match me vs nothing but red ranks. Every. Game.

Got impossible to rank up but wasnt ranking down either. Swapped to a different killer and boom, green ranks again.

This system sucks for high ranking killers. That system sucked for players trying to rank up.

Considering we're trapped in the killer now even with it turned off, I agree. Either activate both or shut off both until you're ready to activate both.

Hasn't it been months at this point, and we still haven't gotten an update on it? Still can't switch Killers in the lobby this whole time by the way.. pretty good job so far.

Oh yeah! I remember now, it wasn't able to gauge skill well enough, even after people said it just needed more player data.

I de ranked from 4 to 13 learning the twins.

    It was not fun.

Now I'm good and getting better, but I still agree entirely with OP.

New killers should start at least 10 ranks under whatever your current rank is so the learning curve isn't so brutal.

I don't know why I even play this game anymore. Everyone that plays it only does so hoping they ruin everyone else's experience. It's so draining.

I do my best to be a good sport. I usually give hatch, almost never use moris/keys unless for a challenge. As Survivor I don't flashlight click or whatever. But yeah, I can understand if the toxicity gets to you after playing so long. Just want you to know some of us try to make a positive impact :)

It is frustrating, but the goal of one side is to punish the other side.

Not trying to be mean, but the game is about killing and death...

Were you really trying to make friends?

Just set a small goal instead of trying to win. I started learning nurse on rank 1 (Ps4). I have still a long way to go, but you improve faster against good player.

I'm looking to have fun. You can have fun losing. I don't have fun even when I win.

What exactly is ruining the fun?

You opened with "getting stomped playing low tier killers"

I find that mmr works better during peak hours, and late night is full of red ranks.

I do wish mmr was killer based.

The learning curve, although frustrating, is still practice.

Practice turns into skill, skill turns into confidence, confidence then gets tested by better players and this you're practicing again.

It's a cycle. Frustration, skill, confidence, and then back to frustration.

Without changing our own play style or picking different perks to compensate for personal weaknesses, we end up sitting stagnant, never learning, never improving.

Gotta keep your chin up and let them skilled players teach you where your personal weaknesses are, that way you can improve.

The choice is entirely up to you, and only you.

the problem with MMR is that it did only give killers either EASY games or HARD games. if you were high ranked it gave you easy games for what ever reason it didn't match you vs your skill or rating but with low ranked survivors. if you were a low ranked killer (15-20) you were almost always pitted against rank 1-4 survivors. not much of a challenge, not much of a match making, and you know what? they shut it down because it was causing people to quit playing and they saw this. I hope they get it right but i honestly don't think it'll ever work because of the way things are going. ah well.
