Any way to fix framerate drops?

Recently, I have been having a lot of frame drops from 60 to 45 and 40 fps when I am in fullscreen. What is odd is it runs perfectly fine in un-fullscreen. My GPU is a Radeon RX 580. I am not having frame issues in any other games. If anyone can offer help that would be great!

First of all, the game's optimisation is at least questionable and decent specs don't guarantee that it will run smoothly. Secondly, there's no universal answer as to what to do to improve its performance.
You can try the following:
1). Increase your virtual memory (paging file size).
2). If you notice more frame drops/stuttering after you already played dbd for a while, reboot it every 3-4 matches. This game has a memory leak.
