Destroying a hex should tell you what it is

Several times I’ve done a hex straight away without knowing what it was and I feel like it would be cool to have a pop up saying what you destroyed for clarification. I can’t think of any reason why this would be bad for the killer, as their hex is already gone by that point but if there’s some reason why that would be damaging, let me know.

it would be bad for killer because for example if a survivor cleanses undying they now know the killer no long has undying rather than still think they might have undying
unclear information as opposed to clear information keeps the game more balanced

I mean. Technically it does. You get hex indicators. If you blow one up and an indicator goes away then you know what you hit.
