We'll Make It

We'll make it is a great perk. Whenever I'm feeling generous, I like to use this instead BT to instantly heal my unhooked teammate. It's great when the killer isn't proxy camping or when you're not in a rush to unhook someone.

Unfortunately just like Hope which is outclassed by Adrenaline, We'll Make It is still outclassed by BT. The reason behind this is that the unhooker rarely survives the rescue which really cuts a good portion of its duration. To make matters worse, the unhooked survivor gets no bonuses meaning the perk's effect is reduced greatly. I have an idea to remedy that

Every time you rescue a survivor from a Hook, both you and the survivor gain an additional 50 % speed increase to healing up others for 30/60/90 seconds.

We'll Make It stacks with instances of itself up to a maximum of 250%

There are 2 reasons why I like this change.

1. To use with Solidarity so that the unhooker can get healed really fast

2. To increase the efficiency of the perk

idk, I just want cumulative stacks for multiple unhooks again.

300% healing speed because I just unhooked three people? Yes, please!

While I see no problem with your buff, your nerf is uncalled for. We'll Make It definitely doesn't need a 50% speed nerf.

But it's 2 people running around with a 50% heal speed increase. That's more than what Botany Knowledge gives.

I actually kinda like the stacking mechanic but I just don't know how to word it.

But for now just assume that every time you perform a rescue, the duration of the perk resets

I've linked the perk and the version histories from the wiki. Potential wording options, if you'd like.

While I understand the desire for synergy with Jane's perk, I don't think healing buffs should be given to the unhooked survivor from the unhooker's perk. At least, not in this method; I could probably be convinced to support some other way.

I managed to word it so that it you can still stack it. A little broken when run by an SWF altruism squad but that's what Plague and insta-downs are for. Funny thing is, I found out how to word it from the current Prove Thyself description.

Now a big problem with changing We'll Make It is that its a simple perk and adding too many conditions might accidentally ruin it. Remember, it's an unhooking perk so it needs to compete with the almighty BT and the purpose of this thread is to buff it in a way that it doesn't become broken good.

idk why people say adrenaline outclasses hope. Adrenaline gives you one burst of speed, while hope gives a bit of extra speed for a good time; its usually enough for most killers to mistime swings.

I really don't think We'll Make It needs a change at all, it's already a strong perk. The ability to heal that fast when unhooking someone and the length of time it lasts for is pretty damn good. I used it last week, unhooked someone and healed them, killer chased them and had two people slugged - I also got both people back to their feet and fully healed before the killer came close to downing the person I had just rescued. Which is a pretty game changing perk - I couldn't have got them up and healed so fast without We'll Make It being active.

Also Hope - I do think this perk is undervalued, I don't think it is outclassed by Adrenaline, whilst granted Adrenaline does heal a health state as well, the length of the speed boost from Hope more than makes up for that.
