RNG Hooks.

Okay for starters I do not want to sound like I am being boasted or just triggered in any way but have anyone questioned the hooks in this game?

I play both sides and I kinda of find it so funny whenever I play as Killer wether I’m using a hook offering or no hook offering at all the hooks seems to be way too far from each other and I get so annoyed by it because it’s like wiggling for Survivors seems so fast even when they’re not using boiled over Or breakout.

Whenever I’m playing as survivors wether I use hook offerings to be away from hooks it seems like the hooks are still close to each other and I don’t even have enough time to wiggle out which it’s just been bugging me because of how the RNG In this game for hooks is just super weird.

I just feel like it makes the hook offerings for both sides pointless to use because it’s either the hooks are too far from each other when I playing as Killer and when I play as Survivor the hooks next to each other which it makes the wiggling pointless to get out of the Killer grab.

I know this game has a lot to fix which the others are more important than the hooks but I just find it very questionable about these hook RNG.

i hope I’m not the only one questioning this.

The hook RNG is very broken on certain maps. There's places where you have three options within the same spot sometimes, then other times you're struggling just to find one viable hook!

It's a different set of developers, but on DbD mobile, there are seemingly only three hooks on one side of Azarov's Resting Place (the Autohaven map in an hourglass shape). Well, if these survivors all wanna go down on one side of the map.. what option besides slugging am I left with?

Yeah I definitely agree. Hook placements are just weird. I had a match on Haddonfield and a survivor brought a putrid oak + sabo build and it was honestly one of the worst matches.

Thank you for understanding my frustration. I legit feel like slugging is the only way to deal with that bs when you can’t even get to the hooks because of how the hooks are so far from each other as spread out too as well which it’s annoying.

I almost lost my cool when I was on cold wind farm when I was playing as Myser I had one Survivor sabotaging my hooks every time I tried to hook Survivors, This one Jake player kept hiding just waiting for me to hook any survivors and it got to the point that was going legit quit the game and DC on that match but I took the L instead and moved on.
