Reworking lightweight
Lightweight is very underwhelming perk and very few people run it. In order to make it a decent perk, it needs to be reworked. The current perk is this : Scratch marks stay visible 1/2/3 seconds fewer than normal.
My previous rework idea: Scratch marks and blood trails are considerably less discernible and stay visible for 2/3/4 seconds fewer than normal. You leave no blood trails while crouching or walking while injured
Edited rework idea: Scratch marks and blood trails stay visible 2/3/4 seconds fewer than normal. You leave no blood trails while crouching or walking while injured. Your footstep sounds are slightly/moderately/considerably decreased while running.

We already have lucky break to stop blood trails. Maps like ormond are already hard to track scratch marks on so this would be very annoying

Lucky break hides blood trails for a total of 120/150/180 seconds whether or not you are crouched, walking or running. Surely scratch marks would be easier to track on Ormond as it is red on a white ground. And how would you rework lightweight then?

I would keep it’s original effect and make your scratch marks tighter together(this is what predator currently does). This would make it so scratch mark would not appear on walls and trees

It's better than the original but does it really justify a perk slot? And now you have to rework predator.

Predator is long overdue a rework considering it hurts the killer and not all perks have to be meta defining. It would be helpful in a scratch mark build where it is meant to be used

Lightweight is in an okay spot, because so few run this it is actually viable. No killer ever expects it. It's like iron will you'll have to run it enough to see the value and sometimes it's just guessing if the perk did save you.
I run it with lithe/ dance with me/ quick and quiet and this is a strong combo. I have run it without these perks and I see killers lose me and get really confused checking the area while I sneak off. Run it with fixated at first so you get to know how to get good use out of it. Tier 1 and 2 are useless so if you want to buff it those need to go up a second. Tier 3 is in a good spot, it is niche but isn't everything that isn't the meta.

I think this change doesn't fix its problem and falls over other perks uses.
Just make Lightweight and Predator respectively increase or decrease footstep sounds while walking and running.
Boom. That's it. Now they're decent.

I like the idea of Blueberry, we could have a start on it. The perk I would see it work with would be obviously Fixated which allows you to see your own scratch marks, but most of the time this feature is not very helping on its own. We could have an effect making the scratch marks appear only on ground surfaces, not allowing the Killer to see them from afar.

This rework would be a massive middle finger to colorblind people who already can't see scratch marks very well.

thats a bit much for one perk
maybe just the 2/3/4 seconds fewer + less discernible
and make lucky break not use its duration while walking / crouched

That's a great idea but it needs a some sort of secondary effect to be a justifiable perk slot. Did you like my idea about leaving no blood trails while crouching or walking while injured because join them together and I think we've got quite a great perk. Do you have any more suggestions?

I hadn't thought about that actually. Yeah scratch that idea. What do you think could replace though?

Imagine someone running this with Iron Will and they just disappear from the universe when injured
No thanks

My idea was to combine lightweight with Hope.

I like the idea of Lightweight making your footsteps more quiet whether you're walking or running.
Additionally, maybe you make little to no noise in grass?

IYHO. Okay how you rework lightweight then?

How exactly would this work?
