What if Wraith's Cloak GFX was an actual cloud of map fog?
In the highest ranks, Wraith's cloak doesn''t function as the silent jumpscare that it should be. Alert survivors see the shimmer from considerable distance. I understand that he's not completely invisible to give players a chance to run; however, there is no mindgaming survivors who have "seen it all".
But let's say we make cloaked Wraith look like an actual low-hanging cloud of fog--exactly identical to what is on the map. Suddenly a sneaky wraith could approach veteran survivors by pretending to drift sideways or approach when actual mist is between the two combatants. Standing still to let your cloud of mist fade is also another tactic. It would also give the wraith a form of soft generator pressure since survivors might be skittish if they see a high distribution of clumps of fog which may or may not be the wraith.
On top of that, fog increasing add-ons will suddenly have a use for a killer besides sometimes trapper. A team who burns all fog could find their tactic hilariously backfire if they queue into a wraith. The global bell sounding add-on especially would become much more scarier on a map with so much fog.
Think of it as a way to help the wraith at higher ranks. Even skilled survivors would misjudge sometimes when a cloud of mist is the wraith or not.

I like that idea, however from a rank 10-7 survivor (A rank I would assume the majority of players to be) It might cause a lot of 'noise' so to speak on the forums. Yet I personally think that'd be a great change to wraith, and it'd make more sense too.

This would be hard to do, but super cool.0

Survivors would regret using 4 fog offerings, +1 from me!
