Ghostface breakout not giving Killer Instincts

Played a few games of Ghostface. Sometimes, I was looking right at the survivor, so it didn't matter, but a few times, I was stealthed and got broken out. I got the white pointers, for what use they are, but after I get broken out, there is no killer instinct. It pulses, but nothing highlights the survivor with the pulsing (Not the aura, but that web like pulse), even when I find them later and confirm that was the direction they broke me out of.
