Can you see the hatch with a map before it spawns?

I saw a comment on YouTube that says that you actually can see the hatch before it spawns with a rainbow map. Is it true?

The hatch spawns at the beginning of the trial, but it becomes visible when the usual conditions are met (gens repaired, remaining survivors, etc.)
The hatch will be added to the map when you get in range, but its aura will be revealed only once the hatch is visible.

No, all maps only track already existing objects.

This. You can track it, but can't see it before it actually appears. If you pay attention you might find a score event for tracking it when nothings really nearby.

Small game will also activate with hatch before it spawns. . . Which can be kinda weird if you are looking for a totem.
