Shouldn't the Spirit Have a Light Burn Effect?
I'm one of those people who thinks that light burn is archaic like old Slippery Meat being a Trapper counter, but shouldn't the Spirit have a lightburn mechanic?
Light burn is specifically a mechanic that works against killers who enter the Spirit World. The Spirit is not only called "The Spirit", but her power obviously lets her phase into the spirit world, yet she has no light burn mechanic like the other spirit world killers (wraith and the nurse).
A good light burn mechanic for spirit would be if you shine a flashlight at her body she will go transparent if she is currently using her power, giving you tell for if she is using her power if you have a flashlight.

She should. But I've never been fond of that mechanic. You had it on the at the time weakest killer in the game where it was very easy to do, and simultaenously on the best killer in the game where its was nearly impossible to actually do.
It also begs the question of how it'd work. Aim at the husk? Way, way too easy and would single handedly make her low tier. Aim at her while invisible? Would be way to hard if the timing was fair, and if you made it instant with a stun it would be too easy to just wave a FL back and forth.

Well, the Spirit doesn't actually travel through the Spirit world, she has her own ethereal plane, so that's why she cannot be light burned.

The spirit does travel through it, yes, but thats wgat makes her immune. Wraith and nurse still exist on the same world as the flashlight burning them, while spirit fully enters and exits it. The husk is just that, the remnant of her abandoned physical body.

Lightburn is a rather outdated mechanic that should be moved away from in general, in my opinion. It wouldn't make sense lore-wise either, as the Spirit travels through the Ethereal Plane, not the Spirit World like the Wraith and the Nurse.
Flashlights can already be used to determine whether the Spirit is phasing or not, as you cannot blind the husk. However, I think there should be some indication of when she's using her power, even without having a flashlight.
