The blood point cap is kinda wack
Does anyone else think the blood point cap is just such an inconvenience? For instance when I’m trying to level up and prestige characters. I’m pretty sure 1 mil BP doesn’t even get a character to level 50 but around like level 42 (give or take depending on the amount you spend on ultra rares in the higher BP webs). And with the new rank rewards being nothing but BP I feel like the cap is just a bad thing.
Maybe either increase the cap to maybe 3 mil or just remove it all together? Idk, either way being stuck at 1 mil BP is just very annoying to deal with. Anyone else agree or is it just me?

I don't think the devs will remove the cap but increasing the limit would be a good idea. Maybe 100k cap increase per devotion?

That’s a good change, I just want some sizeable increase don’t really mind how it’s done.

They won't change the blood point cap,because they don't want people to unlock the new content (chapters) too fast

imagen if a new killer came out and someone who stockpiled 10 million bp immediately got every perk unlocked on that killer and made the best build possible before even getting in a match the survivors would have a hard time and will cry for nerfs.

The main reason for the implementation of the BP cap was to fight hackers. Since BP hacking is pretty much impossible to catch on video, there is literally nothing they can do about it, so they want to at least make it more inconvenient for said hackers.

Why do you need a dragon's hoard of blood points?
Either you need to spend blood points, in which case just spend them...
OR
You have every character at 50, Prestige 3, with every perk load out. In which case, who cares if you are capped?
It sounds to me like you just want to be able to blood point bomb a fresh prestige or new character.

Because it takes new content progression out of the game.

They want to make it more "inconvenient", which implies it's still very easy and doable to hack in BPs without getting caught, so all it does is be a pain in the ass for the innocent players who just want to have more BP to be able to play the new killer with an actual useable perk loadout. Which is nice of them, I guess.

It’s easier to catch people who modify their save file to get billions of bp when the cap is 1 million.

The only form of "Progression" in dbd is mindlessly grinding bp to get good perks. Why would it be so bad to get more max points?
