Hex: Ruin - Re-imagined
As the devs continue to shake up old metas, I often wonder what the game would be like without the current Ruin. In red ranks, there is hardly a game where Ruin is not a playmate. So, I wondered, and have thought of several possibilities below. I would love you hear your thoughts too.
As a note, the only restriction I gave myself is that the perk had to be directly tied to the generators in some way.
1. Re-assemble
Several of the generators have been stripped of a vital component and these pieces have been hidden in lockers throughout the map. The gen can still be repaired without the piece, albeit much slower. With the piece, it is like installing a brand new part and removes the repair debuff.
2. Break Buff
The killer earns tokens every time a generator gets a good or missed skill check, up to a certain amount. These tokens are expended when the killer breaks a gen, further regressing the generator. (Kind of like a Pop-goes-the-weasel) Great skill checks remove these tokens.
3. Flock of Crows
Crows now flock around several of the un-repaired generators. Fixing the gen disturbs them and causes them to start pecking at you. These pecks cause unique skill checks that get more frequent and more difficult to pass as the generator gets closer to being repaired. Missing one of these skill checks causes temporary, stack-able afflictions, like blindness, mangled, and so on...
