Buff Ghostface +Plague
Hey (:
I really like ghost face, the only problem is he's only "effective" in lower ranks,in higher ranks most survivors outplay him, he has SO MUCH counter play and is always visible, some previous problems include:
- Just looking at him for a very short period from a very long range disables his power.
- This means not only will he not be able to use his no terror radius on most maps against people who turn their camera but also that on EVERY map he will never expose you if you turn your camera because it takes longer to stalk you to get the power activated then it takes to put you out of your power.
- He's also super loud in 'stealth' mode as well, so its basically useless
- The time it takes for his power to recharge is way too long, it only becomes acceptable with two of his best cooldown add-ons
- He's lacking ways to slow the game down.
At BEST, he's tier B but not more and i really miss the lack of thought that got behind this killer since he could be better, i don't want to see only spirit and nurse in high tiers.
The Plague:
I've also noticed some Problems with the Plague in high ranks, the main problem is with her corrupt purge... it should be buffed in a way that forces survivors to cleanse against her, right now, experienced survivors just don't cleanse because they know how to loop and gen rush her even with broken status on them which is a huge problem, and its really difficult to play that way since corrupt purge is one of her main features which becomes unavailable later game and in this way she is early counterable which is pathetic at this point, and there is nothing to counteract this sadly.
The other thing that is really, really bothering is that survivors cant infect EACH OTHER when they heal, unhook an infected survivor which should be fixed in my opinion because it would help to spread the 'infected' effect and make early game more effective.

Sometimes the best time to use your power as Ghostface is when a survivor breaks line of sight, so you can use your power to deceive them. Also, playing ghostface well in the higher ranks requires getting good at stalking around corners during chases. Also, one thing that can help a lot with ghostface is using Nurse's Calling + Sloppy Butcher - disregard that if you're already aware of that combo, but it's really strong.
Regardless, I'm always down for a plague and ghostface buff, they're two of my favorite characters.

Ghostfaces power is quite strong and doesn't really need buffs. Mainly because its stronger when used in chases at LOS breakers for a free mindgame hit.
And when you use it for stalking I can gaurantee you for every time you've been detected and lost your power a survivor has spotted you first, detection has bugged out and you've managed to expose them or their teammates 10 times. If you peek while stalking its impossible to be revealed if your shoulder isn't poking out.

He does need one, not because he is bad or "not strong enough" i think you totally missed the point... its because without his add-ons you dont get to use his power half of the time which makes him even more vulnerable (than he already is), easy to counter, easy to detect and a good killer who'm you can harass with chain looping.
Dont get me wrong he is powerful, but survivors can always detect you when they're crouching around and reveal you most of the time because they blend in much more and have a "better stealth" than ghostface:/
One of his biggest counter plays is actually his own ability which reads:A successful reveal fully depletes The Ghost Face's Power gauge and automatically deactivates Night Shroud for 30 seconds.Survivors who reveal The Ghost Face have their current location indicated by Killer Instinct for 2 seconds.
The Ghost Face can be revealed by Survivors within a range of 32 metres him by default.
The Ghost Face is able to stalk Survivors from a distance of up to 40 metres away.
I hope you see where im going with this.... you have 8 meters which you aren't detectable and how can you always know that you are exactly in those 8m where they dont detect you most of the time? You just cant.... and this renders his 'stealth' kinda useless:/

I don't think making sure your perk actually works more than 50% of the time is a "buff". More of a fix.

Hmm, I'm not sure how I feel about Ghost Face...I've had some bad games, and I've had some where I massacred everyone in a few minutes, getting multiple stalks to full or near-full and just downing left and right. As I've learned more and more, I've come to agree with some on the forums who say we shouldn't balance Killers or perks or anything based on how effective or non-effective they are against the top tier players.
If Ghost Face needs help anywhere, I think giving him better visibility while crouching would be nice. I can't count the number of times I've been crouching through grass or something and walked right by survivors because I can't actually see lol. So making foliage something like 50% transparent out to 10m or something would be a nice buff. I do think the reveal distance is a bit too far as well, maybe reduce to 24m, but overall that's really all I can think of is fair to buff him with.

The one thing GF needs most is a way to apply some map pressure. Maybe by adding a movement speed boost while he is in Night Shroud and NOT in a chase. Pop is like totally useless on him cause if you hook someone and then go to kick a gen, its gonna get finished while you go there 90% of the time. Same with Ruin+Unying. That combo is (was) only OP on killers that are already high mobility (Spirit, Blight, Nurse etc.) if you see someone working on a totem across the map, it will be gone before you can even reach them on GF.

Personally the 2 things everyone wants the most out of these killers is to have GF's reveal mechanic fixed and Plague's deviousness BP gain increased beyond single digits.
But for your plague idea, I think a good change would be to change one of her add-ons and make it so that infected survivors are inflicted with Hindered (3%) and Mangled instead of Broken. That way you make it harder for survivors to get anywhere and force them into wanting to cleanse. I'm looking at the Worship Tablet for this change
