Patrolling a generator on the second floor almost makes you wish for a nuclear wint-... Wait. Sorry.
Patrolling generators on the second floor of a map is never fun for a killer. This is absolute stress and panic attacks on the game. And I found that when all but one of those generators was on the same floor, everyone, even the survivors had fun. It’s such a good map, the survivors could run upstairs and I wouldn’t follow them, instead of resume my patrol.
This gave them chances to get away if they could reach stairs in time before I downed them. All of them died, but none of them were mad at me for the first time ever. No T-bagging, no sandbagging, everyone was having fun.
I think Dead By Daylight needs some more indoor maze like maps, that’s honestly where I enjoy the game the most as both survivor and killer alike.
You guys are talented. Not always honest but still very talented, isn’t that right, Matthew Colte? Anyways, hiding is a lot easier, and more interesting as you have to use props instead of just grass. Which sucks to search as a killer btw. It’s awful. Every tree and rock, and the maps are huge. It’s hust icky.
But not Lerrie’s and The Game, those are where I’ve found the most fun in my time with this game. Chases are always more interesting especially with all the different rooms and windows to mind game with.
I’m also not mistaken as a Claudette nearly as much on these maps as I am on others while playing P3 pig.
We need more indoor maps designed around chases and navigation like the two we have now. The game isn’t very fun when the gens are on the top and bottom floors. It’s annoying for both parties. Either one or the other, both is too much.
It creates a very interesting scenario where I had to make a choice (no pun intended) between continuing to guard the generators and let that survivor limp away up the stairs, or dedicate to chasing that wounded survivor into the upstairs area to finish him off. Ultimately leaving those generators as free reign to the survivors below. I never got frustrated once, and for the first time, no hate mail, everyone enjoyed that. I got GGs!!
Why can’t I get more matches like that?
