If the devs are going to nerf DS-Unbreakable, i can guarantee it's going to be a shadow-nerf

Yeah. We have a couple of perks already that need to 'charge' (current diversion for example) and DS could have the same. like you get unhooked, a timer on it starts if you get knocked down (or hit and then knocked down with BT) withint that time, DS activates.

I think that'd be the fairest change

Yup that way it’s kinda obvious they have it as they actively try to be hit

Everyone who tries to defend DS as not to powerful never brings up any argument. "Don't Tunnel" is not a valid argument if we tell you that we want a fix for people who get punished EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDN'T TUNNEL IN THE FIRST PLACE. If DS would fix that with Idk just making it that the perk disables once you do a generator? (Yes its really that simple) Then you could buff the perk! Yes Make it stronger against people who ACTUALLY tunnel but stop punishing the good killers :) You could make it that the timer pauses once you get chased since you could be tunneled for more than a minute if we are being honest BUT just make it that the perk disables altogether once starting to do a gen.

If you still don't get it, then here how a perk description of it would look like:

Using whatever is at hand, you stab at your aggressor in an ultimate attempt to escape.

After being unhooked or unhooking yourself, Decisive Strike will become active and usable for 40/50/60 seconds. The activation-timer of Decisive Strike will pause while being chased by the Killer.

While Decisive Strike is active, when grabbed by the Killer, succeed a Skill Check to automatically escape the Killer's grasp and stun them for 5 seconds.

Succeeding, failing the Skill Check or repairing a generator will disable Decisive Strike. Successfully stunning the Killer will result in you becoming the Obsession.

How was mori nerf a shadow nerf when devs said more than 2 months prior that they would nerf them?

Yeah, but Scratch mirror Myers is arguably not really the best choice. It's more of a fun build, but not something that you would constantly go for, tbh. And let's be honest, nobody uses BNP anymore. Yes, you can still make it out as as a survivor, and it falls on them for getting into that situation, agreed. But again, if the game was properly developed, 3 genning would not be possible in the first place.

The only nerf they need to do to DS is change it so once the survivor touches a gen, totem or heals themselves it deactivates. Simple and effective.

Well, there has been a time when BT was a one-time-use perk and it got buffed again. But that is not the point. Yes, survivors used to have stuff that was ridiculously overpowered and the devs had to adress this. The simple fact that these things have been in the game shows a lack of understanding their own game. So it is not a valid argument if you say "Surivor OP stuff was removed from the game, stop saying only killer get nerfs". The ######### survivors could do was gamebreaking (or it would be nowadays, cause not many players knew how to abuse it back in the days). I can only think of the killers machine gun build coming close to that.

But it is kinda obvious that killers got more nerfs than survivors in the past, especially in the last few months and especially when it comes to killer perks that are supposed to slow down the game. I understand why they do it, but I don't think that it is healthy for the game in the long term. Most games are going too fast, only thing survivors have to do is to pressure the gens. I am not a fan of increasing gen times overall, but I rather like Scott Junds idea of having an "early game collapse", where genspeed is tremendously reduced until the first chase starts/the fist survivor gets hit. If they implement that, I could think about not having to use specific slow-down perks anymore. And I would be happy to not having to use them, cause it makes room for new combinations. Maybe I am wrong, and the nerf of all these perks is just a preparation for the early game collapse...I really hope so. I think this would be a step in the right direction. Nobody enjoys quickie games, neither killers nor survivors.
