Flashlight not giving feedback when blinding the killer

Upon blinding the killer, the flashlight used to shine brighter which helps me to know that the killer has been blinded and react accordingly. Now, I have to rely on the "Killer blind" score event to know if the killer has been blinded which is inconvenient as I have to redirect my attention to a small part of the screen. This caused me many times to overdo the blind or not blind the killer at all.
This has been a "Known issue" in the previous patch as "Flashlight remains narrow after blinding the killer". I'm wondering why hasn't this been addressed yet, or at least acknowledged as a "Known issue" in the current patch?
