Right now there is not clarity to suggest that you cannot synergize this perk with self-care.
It would be more clear if the wording was changed from, "For every successful Skill Check completed while healing a Survivor, you receive a Token"
To instead say, "For every successful Skill Check completed while healing others, you receive a Token"
Alternatively you can clarify in the last sentence of the tooltip, "Autodidact is not active when using self-care or with a Med-Kit to heal."
