Pig Rework Idea
First time posting. I'm just a silly Pig main who wants to see her play a bit better for both sides. This rework would make the power less RNG based, and give the Pig more agency in the reverse bear trap. I would love feedback.
Jigsaw's Baptism:
Start the trial with 10 locks. Every Survivor starts with an inactive Reverse Bear Trap.
Inactive Reverse Bear Trap:
While standing over a Survivor with an inactive Reverse Bear Trap who is in the dying state, press the Active Ability button to add a lock onto that survivor's Bear Trap. A Survivor's Reverse Bear Trap can have a maximum of 3 locks on it at one time.
Survivors may attempt to remove a lock from their Reverse Bear Trap by searching Jigsaw Boxes. Successfully completing a Jigsaw Box search removes a single lock.
Active Reverse Bear Trap:
Whenever a Generator is completed, all currently inactive Reverse Bear Traps with at least 1 lock on it will become active.
Active Reverse Bear Traps initiate a countdown timer with the amount of locks displayed on the Survivor's Status icon.
Once the timer expires, the active Reverse Bear Trap will automatically sacrifice the Survivor wearing it.
Attempting to leave the Trial Grounds through the Exit Gate with an active Reverse Bear Trap will cause the timer to expire immediately and sacrifice the Survivor.
The countdown timer is paused whenever the Survivor is being chased by the Pig or is in the Dying State.
After every lock is removed from an active Reverse Bear Trap, it becomes inactive.

This actually sound a lot better and a lot more fun then her current power

i think a flat 10 minute game timer to survive is way too oppressive, since it would make her power completely rely on the survivor team's efficacy. it would also make the pig's power much less interactive.

This rework is under the premise that her addons would get a full pass. I had an idea of a very rare addon that would make it so the survivors could have an additional lock placed on their trap.
The main reason I chose for the beartrap to stay on was to keep the amount of different interactions minimal. Having to put on a bear trap and then 3 more locks would get tedious and time consuming after a while; plus, I don't know if the devs could put two separate numbers on the UI.

As a pig main I may not like this idea, but I do really appreciate the thought put into it. Right now pig is low tier (very low) based on consistency. But her fun factor is suspense, as mentioned above. This rework idea takes away from the game and just makes it added objectives. Put lock on, survivor runs ti box and removes, 3 times potentially.
Having players run around and pray gens don't pop and having no clue above where pig is at times in between searching nor their attempts is great. Honestly, I do not think ANY survivor should see box auras UNTIL ACTIVE. (remove the add on doing so or change it). The 1,2,3,4 idea is also thought out but still leaves two survivors guarenteed to remove their trap without much effort and it becomes "hope im the 1 or 2" instead of complete confusion.
