Anyone can play spirit and 4K easily. She can know exactly where you are at all times if you are injured and there is no counterplay for survivors.
Iron will doesn't counter spirit. Scottjund proved this.

I used to have this mindset, that playing Spirit was just an ez 4k. Then I played her for myself. I realized that playing her does in fact take skill.

Just stop running crouch walk hide your tracks duke her phase like you would do a nurse tru3 talent has countless videos on how to play against her I suggest you watch and take note.
Stop expecting every killer to be the same it's boring I say this as a survivor I love the challenge of running and outplaying a spirit and say gg when they out play me.

I dont think playing Spirit takes 0 Skill if you want to 4K every Game. But she is definetly the easiest Killer from the strong ones. they should either nerf her Power or make it harder.
And if you take Ruin Undying Stridor and BBQ together with Mother Daughter Ring and the Amulete you get a 4K every Game. And thats a Fact

No, I would like to see a few games you play at rank one where you 4k every game with no addons. It is actually difficult against skilled survivors. She may have a meh skill cap, but she has a skill cap nonetheless.

It's gotten to the point where these people try their hardest to make sure Spirit players feel bad, but when someone says she does require skill, they get so angry and try to justify it. My guy just give the Spirit hate a rest for at least one full day.

Anyone can play any killer and 4K easy. When yo first start playing killer chances are you'll run into a bunch of newb survivors and believe me 4K-ing them is a piece of cake.
I first played killer with Nurse and 4K'd my first game. not because I was any good at the game, the survivors were just that bad.

One time I used this build on spirit, as soon as the game begin, I pressed M2 than M1 and by the time I blinked my eyes, there was 4 survivors on hooks, game ended and I 6 piped and got 3 millions BP. True story !

She doesn't require 0 skill. That's completely false. She does have a lower skill ceiling than other killers. However, you can still do really well with spirit due to the nature of her power without being a good killer.

I’ll give her a rest when she deserves one. She is the most unhealthy killer for the game in her current state(maybe twins now but I haven’t fought enough of them). She denies survivors skill and is just generally unfun to fight against

Last time I heard, survivors start the game healthy so ofc you can. Also have you tried not walking and not breathing ?

Those suggestions do work but it depends on what character you play for the sounds of pain. Janes and Bills are very loud.

This is actually not something that works.
Some Killers can track you while perfectly healthy from the sound of your breathing. They buffed breathing sounds to be very loud sometime back.
It's ridiculous how far a killer can hear you especially with Stridor. They need to do something about that.
I once faced a Death slinger who found me at the top of the Coldwind tractor while he was chasing another Survivor below.
Afte the match I asked him how he found me he said he heard my breathing. I was at least 10m away yet he still heard me. While in chase.
That was the point I realized that if some killers weren't so bad at the game or deaf it would literally be impossible to hide from them.

I agree that she's unfun to go against and negates survivors' skill but she isn't OP. Teams can still escape against her if they play efficiently because it's not like she has her incredible ability plus a Pig slowdown mechanic plus a built-in Freddy Krueger teleporting to gens. In terms of 4v1 against good survivors, she's actually pretty balanced, it's the 1v1 aspect of her game that's unbalanced and needs a little change. That bug she had back in October was good for her imo.

I mean I'm a really good killer, rank 1 very rarely derank to 2(deranked today actually even tho I got a 3k but whatevs), if u really think spirit take no skill and is OP ur .... Can't say don't wanna get banned again but u know what u are...
No matter how good you are as killer u will always run into a very good team every few games that takes a lot of mind games, without them u lose, and they can mind game u or u can mind game urself and unless THEY make a mistake ur screwed, at least with her u can semi make up for it by fast spirit run which still doesn't garauntee a kill since the sound part is purposely delayed, so u hear the survivor in 1 spot but they're just a bit infront of that spot...
It's actually funny i think all these spirit posts were made due to all the DS complaints, just trying to draw the attention away xD

I wouldn't say she takes zero skill, I mean it's certainly not a whole lot of skill by the way her power works but she's definitely not OP like some believe, I firmly believe these arent good survivors complaining and they're those people who don't look behind them while running so they have no idea what she's doing or they make any attempt to mind game her phase , imagine complaining about having to use your brain to escape in a multiplayer game

im fine with killers who are strong in chase like clown or new PH but theirs a fine line between strong and uncounterable. While I agree spirit can definitely lose matches so can any killer against a good 4 man even nurse. But put side by side with killers like blight or billy she is Kinda op imo.I’d like to see her move grass and corn alongside that bug. Change stridor and then she’d be fine

Don't use bloodhound as u can't see blood anyway, if u use add on to only see blood it will glow bright red like with bloodhound so no point in it, and no point in predator then since u wouldn't see scratch marks

Nerfing killers is unhealthy as you require them to play the game.

Yeah. I do agree Spirit needs a few changes but she still needs to have full control of the chase because it is a 4v1. A nerf and a buff to compensate would do the job.

Maybe not everyone is going to agree with that, but I think players who have a hard time finding survivors
They will have a bit of a hard time using her skill during a chase.
They will need to hear well and pay attention to moving grass and scratch marks.
When they will be better at chases and at effective use of her ability. Yes, they will have easy games.

Sprit's issue isn't that she is too easy and too strong. A new player can't pick her up and just 4k decent survivors. She actually takes time to learn. The issue with Spirit is that once a player actually gets good with her, she is almost impossible to counter. People that think Spirit is an instant 4k at 5 gen machine with no practice are very mistaken.
