Look behind button
Played some of DbD Mobile, and it surprised me that has a look-behind feature for its camera. I understand why it does given the camera is controlled via touch, but the inclusion of it would be helpful on the main version of DbD. I don't see how it could anything game-breaking, and it could easily map to a single button (like the right stick on a controller).

Mobile has a surprising amount of features not present in the main version! A look-behind button would be much appreciated by controller players. I personally suck when using a controller because the camera sensitivity is so limited.

I’m on console and invariably when I try to keep tabs on the killer behind me I run into something. Just now for instance I was running away from Wraith through a corn field, looked behind me for one full second and ran smack dab into a gen, the only obstacle for like 50 paces in all directions! Egads.

I have this same problem. For me, it's really difficult looking back in a chase. Controllers feel clumsy for it.

Controllers might do well with a look back button but I don't think PC needs one.

This feature would be amazing for me who have a disability and the task of looking back is extremely difficult on the PC, helping a lot in accessibility for those who need it and making it normal for those who don't need this option. DBD has few resources to help with accessibility and is in need of a reform in this part to make the game more accessible.

Seems like a smart addition - just need to be sure that the survivor head swivels behind as a function of this (no clue if this is how it is done on mobile) as the killer derives important feedback from knowing where the survivor player is (or is not) looking!

The issue is that the camera plays a role on how chases work. It was intentional to have a drawback of looking back or forward. A button that instantly cuts to back view would change how players manage losing the killer.
You could theoretically keep cutting back in an instant to have a "snapshot" of where the killer is and keep focusing on what's in front of you. Could work I guess but it'd still have a pretty big impact. The unknown of how close the killer is or what's in front of you is part of the horror experience.

I do not believe that this addition will influence anything, because those who can look back without problems, will not use this button.
In DBD Mobile this function does not change the game mode of the assassin or the experience of the survivor, it just makes the process simpler.
