DS is useless
Bring back old DS!!! It should be use as a anti tunneling tool yea fine but killer just abuse the hell out of the 60 sec time... if you run DS and the killer has noed. I get downed with 3 sec left. they dont wanna risk reviving me so they go to the exit gate and 1 camp there 1 of my teammates is on the hook and 1 is left running around. The killer just waits out my DS and hooks me making me handicapped and not able to use 1 perk slot for the whole game... One easy and fair fix in my opinion is to make it activate after you get downed and maybe lower the times to 30 40 and 50 instead... 3 out of 4 games i wont be able to use DS at all and when i dont i get insta tunneled and end up dying instantly

The only time DS is useless is when you decide to stay in the same area instead of crossing half the map.

My game yesterday against a DS user.
I hooked player 1, I hooked player 2, player 1 got unhook and baited me to chase them, I took the bait and followed them right up to a locker. I stood at the locker and started counting. Your not tricking me into activating your DS like that. They exited the locker and I downed them and still carried on counting. I picked them up and hooked them. DS is stupidly overpowered.
DS is overpowered and needs nerfing, it's not useless.
Another game.
I had 1 hooked, 2 downed and 4th running around somewhere. 1 survivor was under the hook so I couldn't pick them up. I picked up Feng and got hit with DS. She unhooked survivor and the 3rd got up and they all run off. Let's just say that game was a 4k game. Don't hit me with DS. I will tunnel players for using DS. DS to me is a bait I will always take. I will kill tunnel and camp you for using DS perk.

no but i want it to atleast activate when you get downed so u cant slug it out like it gets active instantly after u get hit because slugging it out defeats the wohle purpose of the perk and as i said maybe reduce the time to 30 40 and 50 sec or something like that

Late answer! but the problem is that i run DS i get downed none of my teammates pick me up even when im crawling towards them the killer comes back DS is out im on the hook once again

yh but most of the time no one runs bt and even if they do ds has a way longer stun than a swing. ds is a guaranteed escape off the hook (usually). not to mention how many times it has won me rounds

I like your suggestion, if you're downed within 60 seconds, the perk activates and remains active for 60 seconds.
That way if you're being tunneled and survive a chase for say 50 seconds, the killer would have to wait longer than 10 seconds to hook you.

not really i just think that you shouldnt **** up a perk with 1 patch almost making it useless against good killers.
On old DS it didnt really matter how good or bad your team was but now if you play with bad players who doesnt pick you up and you have 20 sec on the DS left he downs u then just slugs you out and none of your team helps you well then the perk is pretty much wasted and trust me it happens a lot.
And this is kind of a complain yea... But the main thing is that i want to see what other players think and the 2nd thing is i dont think you should make one of the strongest perks basically one of the worst like with ruin they changed the whole perk its not even ruin anymore its like a different perk you should only do minor changes on perks (in my opinion)

well look at DS now still think its a strong perk? its an F tier perk right now because it cancels when you repair a generator (touvhing it for 0.1 sec deactivates), healing, cleansing a totem, sabotaging a hook or unhooking someone

As a killer main, i am happy. DS is an abusive perk and this really isnt making it any worse. You'll probably get insta downed anyway ater being unhooked. Git gud

DS is becoming actually anti-tunnel perk now, nothing wrong with that.
I play both sides and to be fair, healing shouldn't deactivate DS. Other than that, rest is fine.

PPPFF just played a game with hex ruin and permanent evil within 3 very fun game even with 200% extra bloodpoints we only managed to get 15k and the killer got like 70k very fun game too took 40 mins to trash talk him afterwards

If you're getting chased after being unhooked while having DS active, why on earth would you stop to do any of those things. Your priority should be to get away; get to a loop, drop some pallets, hell, even drag the killer away to a far flung area of the map so your teammates can get gens done, even at the cost of yourself.
I get it, it's frustrating if your teammates aren't playing smart and they're not helping you, or the killer decides to be a prat and target one survivor relentlessly. But you can't rely on DS to act as your escape means and play lone survivor. It's only meant to prevent a killer from grabbing you right after you've gotten off a hook - it's not meant to be a self defense perk.

by that logic dead hard and Borrowed time are F tier perks. To lose DS you have to do something you usually wouldn't do in a chase.

no because i actually get to use dead hard and borrowed time but never DS. dead hard is a pretty useless perk to wit hthe dedicated servers because its harder to get a good timing when they have 2 meter extra range due to desync

slug feng out problem solved you can tunnel and bypass DS when there are like players remaining DS is only viable when all 4 are alive where they might fall for the useless perk. When its only you and someone else alive and you have for an example 30 sec left on your DS and they knock you they can just wait it out which basically makes the perk useless even do you should have gotten it.
BTW none of that run unbreakable stuff! wont waste a perk slot for a 1 time use :)

bro that is how current ds works slugging has always been used to counter it.
how DS works to prevent tunneling has not changed other than it deactivating on saves, survivors should not be allowed to have this as a safety net as they do gens or your hex totem.
IMO at the very least it deactivating on cleansing, repairing, and sabo'ing need to be implemented maybe with add a delay of total 3 seconds of those interactions except for sabo'ing before it is disabled but it needs to be disabled, healing is easily bypassed it should be removed from it's deactivation list since it only hurts your team and unhooking im iffy on since your sometimes forced to do that off hook and from there the killer wont loss.

yea i know but you shouldnt be able to tunnel someone making their DS useless then just letting them wait 60 seconds at the end of the game with no chance of winning anyways thats worse then camping or tunneling to slug out the time at the end just pick me up like a man and chase me
you should still be able to tap a generator what is it you dont understand when talking about tapping a generator I DONT mean DOING A GENERATOR i mean tapping it for .1 sec shouldnt deactivate DS. doing a hex totem should deactivate it because yes it takes a lot of time and if you got that much time you dont need DS but to waste .1 sec to save a gen from going down like 40% shouldnt deactivate a perk
And yea i agree with you on everything besides the generator i mean in normal chases people tap generator you tap it because you dont have time to progress on it. But everything else like healing should deactivate it yea 100% doing a totem 100%

it called a counter if they waited 60 seconds your team has or should have been doing gens IF he was camping you waiting it out. if he slugged and left you your team should have picked you up, like it or not this is a team based game even as a solo.
if it's end game with gates open im sorry but you can get 40 meters of distance minimum by just crawling from hook honestly ds is busted as hell at end game. If you have bt or someone to body block you can easily make travel 80 meters until it is deactivated.
if a killer wants someone dead they should be allowed to sacrifice the match to do so that is why camping is not a problem same thing with tunneling since the other 3 survivors can get nearly all gens done.
