MAD POST FROM A LEGACY PLAYER. DEVS SAID "NO" TO "THAT" BUT ALLOWS YOU TO ABUSE IT STILL
Okay so this time I want to ask what the ######### is going on with the devs logic and how they approach certain things, when they clearly said ON STREAM that they WON'T do it in the game. In old streams a lot of viewers were asking to do Sprint Burst activatable at will, as Dead Hard which was released long time after. Devs clearly said - THAT THEY WON'T ! DO THAT. Because it will be way too broken.
And you think they actually kept their words ? Of course no, because they don't know their own game and how abusable certain things are. If I'm playing killers vs Sprint users, trust me, a lot of them will keep their exhaustion at 99% then run around like idiots, being chased, injured, then Sprint away at will which might lead to a losing chase or way too much time lost.
Sprint Burst vs Dead Hard, which is better ?
Most people will say and will use Dead Hard in most of their games, just because it's the most broken survivor perk in the game (Was talking about this ######### in one of the previous "mad" posts).
Sprint Burst allows you to feel safe in dead zones, help you if you are ambushed by some stealth killers or perks such as Tinkerer Buba who came out of nowhere and you will go down 100% if you won't have Sprint. In my logic, Sprint Burst is a "Plan A" perk for "oh ######### situations".
Dead Hard allows you to have that option to stay alive in a lot of ######### situations where you WILL go down without it, but this perk is useless vs one shot powers or addons, if you are healthy of course. In my logic, Dead Hard is a "Plan B" perk for "oh ######### situations".
So the problem is that killer can start chasing you, you will juke him, but if killer played well and let's say he zoned you, with a 99% exhaustion and Sprint, you can use this perk as a "Plan B" escape which makes no ######### sense. It's just broken as #########.
History of "Exhaustion" in the game.
The OG players remember the old Sprint Burst, which was the most broken survivor perk in the game, it had 45 sec CD at all times and survivors could use it multiple times in a single chase which was broken. Then as Nea came out, some "4head" survivors were using both Sprint Burst and Balance Landing, so they could chain them together, since they had separate cooldowns. Just walk to some high ground with a killer on your self, drop down, trigger Balance Landing sprint and by the end of it, Sprint Burst will be active too, 6 seconds of 150% speed, even longer than Adrenaline. So devs added this "Exhaustion" mechanic...
How to fix current problem of 99% Sprint Burst #########, and how to rework one of the most useless perk VIGIL.
Currently you won't recover your exhaustion if you are running, just make it so you will recover A VERY LITTLE of it while you are running still, like 0.2-0.3 seconds of recovery so you can't keep it at 99% mid chase and use it as a "Plan B" escape, instead of a "Plan A", how it was designed at first place. Then rework that useless ######### perk Vigil, which NOBODY uses since Quentin was added in to the game, I've seen this perk like a few times with Sprint Burst and Fixated, just a meme build. Change Vigil so it will buff those 0.2-0.3 seconds of recovery to like 0.5-0.6 seconds while you are running. That perk would have it's use and won't be trash any more, it's literally does nothing right now.

If you're also 99'ing your Sprint Burst, you're not working on gens because you're too busy running around trying to keep exhausted.
