I HATE Patch 2.2.0
Patch 2.2.0 blatantly favors Survivors. The decreased hook was mostly fine, it made camping a less viable tactic but it did Nerf killers like Wraith and Hag, but its nothing some minor tweaking can Fix. My real problem with this patch is the Nerf to Blood Lust in my opinion, this Nerf destroys killers, I believe blood lust was helpful ability that made palet/infinite looping less devastating to killers and prevented Survivors from being able to palet loop/infinite for most of the match. The biggest problem with this Nerf is it makes the game a lot more toxic, getting palet looped for most of a match is infuriating and when people get infuriated they tend to be more toxic and camp an tunnel Survivors. the other problem with this is it gives other survivors time to gen rush, which is another major problem in this game that nobody likes.
What i would do to fix this problem add the old blood lust back, increase overall killer speed, make the entity block certain windows sooner, or add another generator. if one of these things were to happen, perks like make your choice and devour hope should negate most campers in mid tier match ups, but i couldn't assure all campers will stop because Noobs tend to camp no matter what, some people are just toxic, and rank 1 will always be aids.
also add the hatch closing mechanic, I hate hatch standoffs like everyone else, left behind would be a actual perk, and it sort of cheats killers out of a 4k.

Patch 2.2.0 was BHVR’s way of giving in to the review bombs of patch 2.1.0. They knew that they couldn’t nerf the Killers they had just buffed or undo anything else, so they released a patch that makes it even easier for Survivors to bully the Killer and escape.
Most of the unhooking changes were not needed. I get what they were trying to accomplish with them (help combat farming), but the way they did it gives Survivors unnecessary buffs. Any Survivor can now unhook in the Killer’s face without fear of being injured or downed. Unhooking should be something that you wait for the right moment to do. If they want to combat farming, then the farmer should be the one who is punished, not the Killer. I say make the farmer Exposed when the Killer is nearby for a short amount of time. You think you can farm? Well then you're going down and on that hook while the other Survivor has a chance to hide. On top of that, Survivors should not be able to instantly cancel the unhooking action and should not have any protection if they kobe. If your intent is to farm, then you'll have to hope that the Killer doesn't notice you before you finish unhooking. If you get caught, then you'll be grabbed and put on a hook yourself, whether the other Survivor was successfully saved or not. If you want to kobe, then wait until the Killer is gone. If you kobe while the Killer is nearby, then that is your fault and you deserve to go down again. If you don’t have an opportunity to kobe, then oh well. You’re not entitled to one.
The Bloodlust changes also came with nerfs to infinites, but they weren’t enough. They’ve turned other places into infinites because of the Bloodlust nerf. Heck, at least two of the spots that they said were fixed turned out to still be infinites. With the Bloodlust nerf, it also takes longer to catch Survivors looping at any spot, meaning it’s easier for gens to be completed. If BHVR was going to nerf it, then they shouldn’t have nerfed it so hard.
The Hatch standoff is also the result of crying Survivors. In the 2.0.0 PTB, the Hatch could be closed. There were a few problems with it, such as Survivors hiding the entire game and it was much harder for that last Survivor to repair a gen, but they could’ve been fixed so easily. Just give the Survivor a base Left Behind effect and allow the Killer to see the Survivor’s aura after a certain amount of time has passed. But the devs gave in to the Survivors and changed it to if the hatch was closed then the gates would be powered, still making it really easy to escape.5 -

Patch 2.2.0 blatantly favors Survivors. That can be said for literally EVERY patch.
In 2 years I can remember 2 patches that favored killer. And 1 of them was halfway reversed the next patch. :P4 -
Sorry for saying it that way but, don't you think you just suck at this game?
I'm survivor main with 700h and I just started playing killer main because there are too many campers from rank 20 to 1 and it's absolutly not fun. With something around 40h as a killer I already reached rank 10 (even if the rank system means nothing) and I still make a lot of mistakes. However, I have an average of 3 kills per match because most survivors suck more than I suck as a killer and, furthermore, they have been nerfing survivors for a year now. The only perks that remains good in any situations are Self Care and Decisive Strike who the nerf was already annonced.
If you don't agree (which I think you do) just look closely to the every patch since september 2017. Survivors lost instablind, flashlight save is really hard theses days, half the pallets were erased of each map (I don't think this balance is bad btw), we lost most of the infinites 2 weeks ago, the new pallets aren't safe (there is even a steam achievement for killers hitting survivors while they drop the pallet), Borrowed Time, the only anti-camp mechanic, was changed into "I take your place on the hook".
We can talk about the perks too. Since Decisive Strike, they never release a really good/interesting perk. If you thin about Deliverance and Autodiact. The first one has a tough condition and a major demerit, like most survivors perks and what didn't happen to any killer perk since they reworked shadowborn. The second one is RNG so it's kind of useless. Furthermore, Autodicact has been nerfed a month since its release but nobody plays it so who cares.
The nerf bloodlust was the best thing of this patch. After 2 years, BHVR admitted the nurse was a mistake (what everybody knows since her release) but they did nothing about it. They could have disabled her since they have balanced her but nope. Why is she a mistake? Because she ignored every single game mechanics. What's the match with bloodlust? Bloodlust 2 and 3 was making it possible for every killers to ignore pallets.
Some killers need reworks, some balance are needed for both side, but the problem is not as simple as "buff something" or "nerf this crap". The real problem is the poor vision of BHVR and their lack of audacity. They're trying to make it a competitive game but it's neither fun nor competitive. Dead by Daylight is just a bunch of egocentric killers and survivors asking for buff and crying after an easy game instead of learning. This game is dying for a year now and the only thing I hope for dead by daylight is a tough competition so they realize their mistake and they make dead by daylight a fair and fun game. Until this happens, I won't play survivor anymore because it's unfair, unfun and the lack of dedicated servers will be part of the death of this game for sure.

40h and only reached rank 10. 0 experience at high rank and you think you have perspective to call someone bad?.. Cmon mate
40h in 2 year. I have 32h these past 2 weeks, you can minus 10-15hours of lobby so I made rank 20 to 10 in 15-20h. Furthermore, as I said, rank system means nothing. I had harder time at rank 14 thant 10 because you can match rank 1 nevermind the rank you are.

Also, your broken math doesn't make you look any better or change the fact you haven't experienced the highest play at all. All it says is that you haven't played much, or gotten very far, but you still think you know better.0 -
If you really need a bloodlust to catch a survivor, than it's very bad with you

You do realize rank ten is about the turning point of when survivors start to actually be good, and pallet/infinite loop you, and when getting to rank ten, any decent player should be averaging about 3 kill.
