Why Does New DS Still Have a 60 Second Timer When Doing Any Action Deactivates It?

Seriously all the killer has to do is hard slug in order to counter it, the new version makes it so that you can't do any interactions to get use out of it. That'd be fine, but the problem is that the killer can still hard tunnel. Say you tap a gen to stop it from regressing or try to get someone off the floor who's been slugged and you go down right away again. These are valid instances where you now can be tunneled freely because you tried to help the team out, and that's not even taking into consideration the 60 second timer still being there. There has to be one or the other, keeping the perk how it is now, 60 seconds where if you're picked up you can use it, or changing it to deactivate on interactions, but removing the timer entirely to balance that out. Not to mention, a killer can tunnel you way longer than 60 seconds with the only thing happening being a chase; no interaction outside of that.
