Altruism/Benevolent Points

I noticed this while I was playing the game with my friends, and after the trial ended the emblems showed. When I looked at it I lost points for hooked survivors. This has happened multiple times to me and friends which could be a little frustrating. I shouldn't lose points for someone getting hooked or someone getting camped on hook til death, And If they have knockout it makes it hard to see. It shouldn't be my fault if they are new or bad. Sorry but that is kinda dumb. It's fine if I get an explanation from a community manager or a dev responding than an actually fix. I love this game to my heart but I just require an explanation. Please and thank you, hope you have a good day.

It's been that way since the Emblem system came out.

When any survivor gets hooked, all survivors lose 10 Benevolence

If the hooked survivor is rescued before dying, all survivors gain 10 Benevolence.

If the hooked survivor dies within 10 seconds, those points are refunded to all survivors.

Why? If you leave someone in the hook to die, you're not being benevolent.
