Some feedback on the new patch.

Map updates

The Game - This map actually has some amazing details and changes and more inline of what I would imagine the map should look like. There are a few totally safe pallets which arent mind gameable which should be looked at but overall I love the changes.

Crotus Pen - This is a strange one, I dont like or dislike it for the most part as the map itself has some nice looking changes but most for myself dont look anywhere as nice as before. Graphically I think its a step down and while the textures are better the design is not as good. The walls looks a bit out of place and it is way too bright. I also feel you can see too far accross the map now I like dthe darker feel of the old one.

The new UI

I disliked the new UI from the start and did not hold back with my opinion on it. Implementing this into the live game with the the minute unoticable changes made after the feedback is dissapointing to say the least. I dont quite understand why something meant to give more information actually gives us less.

The character portraits look terrible and the injured staus with the lines through it is quite frankly a mess, I for one would not put my name any of this work if I was in that field. Its as if the feedback on the flashing red was taken on and they quickly changed it to something which looks just as terrible and feels less informative than the previous iteration of the UI which was basic and simple and I dont think these employees understand that is what is needed for it to work. THe UI should be something ifo is given at a quick glance or out or periferal vision.

The hook counter I feel really is not needed and removes again some thought and memory needed when playing the game.

The hook timer underneath is extremely hard to see and way too small even at 100%. When you lower the UI size which was stated to be something put when players said it covered to much screen its even harder to see. Again for something meant to give more info its actually removing it.

The gen counter being at the top what can I say...its so far out of place.

These gen and charcater elements were said to have been changes again to give more info but they actually give us less since we now have to look around more. Info that is needed should be close like the old UI did, gens and survivor info along with perks were all along one line. This worked as when you looked down it was all there and we did not have to directly look at something to see the info. It was just clean and worked.

The new animations

Standing and running look okish but the injured animation is just terrible. It feels as if the top of the survivor is completely detached from the bottom of them. The legs move at a speed which looks really out of place. The older one was far superior and I actually felt like I was injured. Also when holding an object such as a flaslight the arm holding it flaps around like there are no bones in it.

Then there is the movement, this was not meant to change an aspects of the gameplay but unfortunately it has as the start/stop when moving from side to side is not longer instant. I think the devs need to do some tests while dodgings hatchets for example.

What I dont quite understand is the why put work into the UI and animation changes when no one was complaining about them. I can completely understand progress to make things better of course but these changes have to be better and enhance the game and not take it backwards.

I think the Idle animation while Healthy is awful, it looks like the Survivors want to collect your soul...

Otherwise I agree with everything you said.
