My feedback on the 4.5.0 update

I wish they never changed the UI. It's REALLY small and everything is scattered across the screen, which makes it not pleasant for the eye, and difficult to follow. There was no need for an UI change. If that looked bad or weird on some platform, maybe they could've changed it on that one, not on all of them. Or at least give us the option to keep the old one. There's also some games that allow you to move the UI as you like, and that'd be really cool. I really, REALLY wish game devs took into consideration what people was saying. No one liked the new UI, but they still went for it.

Animations for the characters look really weird... Specially the injured one.

The stand still one it's really forced. They don't have that vibe of an scared person anymore. They're just standing still.

-Survs names are DIFFICULT to see, as they're SMALL. (not to mention they're placed on Discord vc overlay, which can be moved, yeah, but why should I when it was always there?). And yeah, I have the bigest option on.

· Object is way TOO big. I mean, you know what you're holding, I don't see the point of it for being so big and important things such as teammates status being so small.

- Spin animation is broken.

Edit: I've been playing a few matches: Hitboxes are also broken. Killers can hit you from 2 meters away.

It's nice they want to improve the game, with such as new animations and map upgrades. But really, no one asked for that UI change. And animations are broken.

I know this won't be read to any dev, same with all other complaints. As people has been doing that both on here and twitter, and seems like we're being ignored. Devs make and improve a game, but the community that keeps it alive is us: the users. I really, really, hoped for them to listen to us at some point.

I really loved this game for the almost 3 years I played it. I recommended it to a lot of friends. But I guess it's time to leave.

I'm honestly a bit lost on why the UI was changed so drastically. I get they wanted to include the hook counters and change the icons to reflect who's playing who, but this is far beyond the changes required to include those elements :c

    Indeed.

I really think this was made for the mobile players, as it's a mobile game UI. If that was the case, they could be changed just on there, tbh. I don't think the portraits are a bad option, but I strongly agree that the character portrait itself and not an illustration (maybe the same ones as on the rift) looks weird and out of game.

Not to mention that they're too small...

I mentioned on my thread about this that they have perfectly good all white portraits for the Adept [Survivor] achievements that would fit in far better with the designs for being hooked, being the obsession and so on - are those the ones used in the rift? I think it is :x But yeah, point remains.

I've just ha da thought that the UI is absolutely awful for anyone who streams DbD - there's not a single corner they can use for their webcam/avatar and there's no real space for things like alerts, incoming tip notifs and the like.

Yeah, these ones! They fit better in the game UI than a 3d portrait of them.

It really is, with everything being so scattered it's quite difficult to put webcam/avatar and such. You can aways put them on the object side, as it's not an important corner but still...
