My Proposed DS Nerd / Rework
The most common problem I see with current DS is killers being punished for being good. You can hook 3 survivors, then get DS'd by the first one you hooked 50 seconds ago. Then get DS'd again, then again. It is meant to be an anti-tunnel perk, so I have an idea that would keep it as an anti-tunnel perk while not punishing killers for being good.
Assume current DS, but it deactivates if another survivor is downed, hooked, or killed (mori, bleed out, etc).
This keeps it as an anti-tunnel perk much more than the proposed rework by the devs. You should be able to pop an insta-heal, sabo a hook, or heal yourself with a quick med kit while being tunneled. It is possible, and I've done it before. If you think this is too strong, too weak, etc let me know and we could have a discussion about it.
Keep in mind this is coming from someone that plays 80% killer consistently at rank 1 / 2 (not that ranks matter)

Believe it or not, a survivor can be unhooked while a killer hooks another survivor nearby. Very true for basement hooks.

However during that time, the survivor would not be tunneled, now would they? It's an anti-tunneling perk.

In the basement, If they are unhooked the moment before the killer hooks another survivor in the basement. Then chases that unhooked survivor. Yes that is tunneling.
