Xbox - Stuck in the deck on Backwater Swamp

I was playing survivor with the character Cheryl Mason. I selected the tome challenge Glyph Seeker. I spawned next to one of the glyphs, I pressed the button to commune on the dock and I became stuck and could only turn in a circle. Once I was downed by the killer I became stuck under neath the dock and could not crawl out.
