Withering Soul Nurse particles persist after changing cosmetics

The particle effects for the new rift skin remain even after switching off of the cosmetic in the menu.
Repeated switches between this skin and another skin add to the particles present on the screen.
This bug occurs every time the cosmetic is switched to, and the only way to remove the particles is to unload the Nurse entirely by switching killers or leaving the killer menu.
I'm unsure if the other cosmetics of the Divergence set experience the same issue.
