It's well known that the emblem system is bugged right now and causing players to unfairly depip. It's been a growing complaint in the community over the last couple days and makes playing survivor even less fun then it already is, with all the bugs the mid-chapter update caused. Why go through with rank reset when the system that determine's said rank, is bugged and broken? Fundamentally it'd be a terrible decision to not cancel rank reset until you can issue a fix.
