Stuck in Spectating

I was the third of the survivors to escape. I spectated to watch the fourth survivor escape. As I entered the spectating the fourth one left and the match ended. I was brought to the screen of the survivors running but was still spectating. I couldn't see any of the menus besides the spectate menu showing my name and the leave button would show that I was pressing it but nothing would happen. The ECG was still slowly ticking down and I hoped it would boot me out. But after it ended I was still there and couldn't click anything. I had to force quit the game and then it just reloaded and I was fine.
