Maybe you are right. Can you explain with that premise, why there are not more killer and less survivors?
Shouldn´t be the killer queues longer and the survivor queues instant, if there were more killer and less survivor?
And we know that if one side is easier/stronger, that people will flock to that side.
So, why is it that i have long survivor queues?

Survivors are given plenty of chances. The issue with DBD is that survivors are coddled. They aren't forced to try to win, they are very easily carried. You don't even need to interact with the killer to win more than half your games. Survivors are encouraged to be brain dead, so the vast majority of them are bad. When you get good survivors vs a good killer, the killer will lose most games.
The major balance feature of this game is that it's so broken at high levels that survivors end up getting bored and killers end up getting frustrated and quitting, so there's just a constant influx of newer players that don't know how to play the game. This is the effect that you're talking about killers being too strong, because yes killers are very strong vs bad survivors. It just elucidates how badly designed this game is, that in lower skill brackets one side is too strong, and then higher brackets the opposite is true.
You don't seem to know much about the perks and their effects on the game. The fact that you think freddy is a strong killer shows how little you know about the game, as Freddy is only a good killer against bad survivors.

And again like most often the "real truth" is that most people mistake easy for stressful/mentally draining. Killer is nonstop in action and on a time crunch. Survivor only have that while actively being chased and the rest of the time is boring gen simulator. But that's the point, survivor can opt for a break if they can avoid detection and keep being stealthy while killer don't have that option.
Most killer don't want an easy game but less being on edge the whole trial and survivor want a second objective for more action.

just because a handful of killers can win effortlessly doesnt mean the majority do.
most cases survivors are the one "memeing" about while they win, the killer HAS to put 110% into every match in case its a sweat group.

When you mention buffs to Doctor, Leatherface and Clown i assume you mean their reworks if so i dont know what you are talking about they needed these changes(well clowns changes barely helped him). Doctor and Leatherface were bottom tier killers and now they are pretty balanced
