Trapper: Placing trap at windows
I just noticed when you place the traps at windows, survivors can jump through them and not get caught if you place them too close to the window. Since when was this a thing? I got robbed of a down because of this. I never had this happen until this patch(played trapper yesterday).
I get you can place traps poorly at pallets, if you put it in the middle you can drop the pallet and just jump over it but I think at windows it should always catch a survivor vaulting it. Please make trapping windows always catch a survivor jumping through it.

It was always a thing, if the Bear Trap is too close to the window a fast vault can get the Survivor over it, that's why you always want to make a little space between the window and the Bear Trap to guarantee trapping that Survivor.

I mean its always been like this and without sounding harsh just dont put it too close to the window vault. Leave a bit of space.

Yes, as others have said, this has always been a thing. Survivors fast vault out of a window and they go further - which is pretty natural. I don't think it actually needs a change if a survivor is not near a trap then why should they be trapped in it? You just need to make your traps a little further out so that they actually catch the survivor.

There's actually inconsistencies between who gets caught in the traps, by the way. Male survivors will vault far enough away that they don't get caught whilst the female survivors will get their lil legs trapped.
If you want to catch them 100% of the time, leave some space. It's part of the skill ceiling to trapper and honestly I'm fine with it being there.
