Option to choose what platforms to play against

So as you can tell from the title, I would like to know if there is any scope for filters on crossplay. For example instead of having it be people without crossplay can only play with others who have also turned off crossplay, can we not instead have the option to filter out the platforms we don't wish to play against and be matched with only the platforms we do.
So I play console and for the most part crossplay is fine, but I don't enjoy playing against PC players purely because of the advantages they seem to have. I would much rather only play against other console users instead. At the very least can we not get symbols to show what platform someone is on?
