Adrenaline not working after getting unhooked

Here's another bug which I just experienced against a Doctor player.
First he hooked me while the final gen popped, so far so good. But the moment I got unhooked the effect of Adrenaline was supposed to go off, after all its own perk text states that it saves the effect in such a scenario. Yet that didn't happen.
Luckily I still managed to escape but this is still not okay. Either this was an undocumentated stealth nerf or a bug.
