DS basekit

I know this has been brought up before but the more it gets said, the more it might happen.

I wanna preface this with I am a killer main but I do play survivor for rift challenges and it's pretty disheartening how rampant tunneling is in this game, especially if there is no obsession. If the NEW upcoming DS was basekit and the killer knew EVERYONE had DS off every hook, it would keep them honest. An actual anti-tunneling mechanic built in would make the game health overall better I feel.

I am running scenarios in my head in how it would be "abused" and I'm not coming up with a lot of rampant cases of it off the top of my head. Feel free to share some if you can. (Aside from everyone at the very end of the game somehow all being four hooked then miraculously not.)

Not sure if putting in perks as basekit is really the way to go on this. I get that many people feel that camping/tunnelling is an issue, but it's also a pretty solid mechanic and one that will lead to the killer losing that trial if the remaining survivors punish it...that's my issue with it. I completely get that it's ruining the game for that 1 survivor but it's also on the other 3 survivors to work together to prevent the killer from getting that survivor or by pushing out the gens to finish the trial.

And if you start adding perks to basekit - where do you draw the line? Killers say gens go too fast, so a slowdown perk as basekit, or BBQ basekit etc etc. I think once you start going down that road, it's much harder to draw the line.

While we're at it, why not make Devour base kit?
