Lost rank/pip after match cancelled (then again after restarting client)

I went into queue as Rank 1 killer and loaded into a match. The match was cancelled because someone disconnected during loading. The score screen and emblem in the top-right corner said I'm rank 2 with only 1 missing pip. I thought it might have been a visual glitch so I restarted the client to see if it would fix it. When I started up the game again, I lost another pip (lost 2 pips total).

Had the same issue. Match cancelled in loading because it said that there was a player disconnect. It took away a pip from all survivors in the match.
