Why didn’t you protest against the Christmas onesies? Dwelf? Christmas present Dwight? Elephant onesie clown? Bunny ears Feng? How did they fit into your idea of horror but a Drag Queen wouldn’t? Also, stop saying crazy make up. There are a ton of different Drag styles, what is crazy about the below?
I think it would be awesome to have a Drag Queen survivor because it’s showing diversity and why is that such a bad thing? Nobody is forcing you to play as them, but plenty of people, myself included, definitely would as I love the art of Drag.
It’s just so backwards when people say things like it wouldn’t suit the horror style of the game. Are you telling me that if in Halloween, Laurie was played by a Drag Queen, it would no longer be a horror? Or if Nancy was played by a Drag Queen, then A Nightmare On Elm Street would no longer be a horror? Because that’s just ridiculous.
A horror doesn’t become a horror because of the people, it becomes a horror because of the scenarios they’re put in. Scenarios that anybody from any walk of life could potentially go through.

That's not what I meant, If they introduce a gay/lesbian character that looks feminine or masculine I would have no problem. Just with how a drag queen looks in dbd's aesthetic. I am very pro-lgbt and have no problem with them in dbd, just not a drag queen.

There are plenty of cosmetics I do not like but I have to live with, just as I would if they introduced a drag queen character. I personally don't like the idea of massive eyelashes and mad hairstyles in dbd, it just doesn't fit. Why in your personal opinion does that fit into a horror style.

Why quote my post if you clearly didn’t read it? Because I already answered that. 🤦🏻♂️
0 -
I didn't it's not allowed I said I wouldn't like it because it looks out of place in dbd. In real life it's fine, people can wear what the hell they like. Can you honestly say that a man with a full grown beard and a dress, wearing incredible amounts of makeup and huge fake eyelashes would fit into dbd.
0 -
What would not look out of place, then?
2 -
Alright fine, if peppa pig was attacked by a serial killer does that make it horror. Because in my opinion it doesn't.
0 -
Somebody who doesn't have massive eyelashes, tons of makeup, a crazy hairstyles or huge bloated lips.
Edit: You're going to rip me apart with this one aren't you
0 -
You're telling me what they shouldn't have to not look out of place. What would be "not out of place?"
1 -
I mean, depending on how it was done, yeah it would be a horror. It would be a horror version of Peppa Pig.
I’ve explained it out to you throughout this thread in extremely simple ways. So if you’re still not getting it, that’s a you problem.
1 -
Alright, well they should have regular sized eyelashes, a normal hairstyle and if they have makeup, it shouldn't be overly visible.
0 -
Alright fine it may be horror to you but it wouldn't be to me.
0 -
Normal hairstyle is okay but normal beard is not?
3 -
If they look feminine they shouldn't have a beard, otherwise I'm very pro-beard.
0 -
Who do you think you are that you can define what regular hairstyle is or regular sized eyelashes?
why shouldn’t it be overly visible? There are regular normal people that like it that way, why should they be excluded? There is no gameplay reason for such an exclusion
4 -
Why? My BF supposedly looks feminine (I don't see it, but whatever) and he can still grow a beard.
2 -
Mods, can we please get all these LGBT threads merged into one? These threads are not as unique as the OP seems to think they are.

This is an example of what I am afraid of:
Can you honestly tell me that this fits into dbd.
1 -
Why not?
1 -
Look at the picture above your comment
0 -
It's more of a drag queen discussion rather than lgbt.
0 -
Did not answer my question. Why not?
1 -
I can honestly tell you I don't care, not when Clown can dress up in an elephant costume and the Legion can wear bunny onesies.
2 -
At risk of repeating myself, it doesn't fit into a dbd in my opinion
0 -
I respect your opinion
0 -
I'm asking you why you say it doesn't fit.
2 -
I kinda want what you described in the game now I would be chasing as killer and unable to concentrate because laugh so much the way you word it "crazy makeup and fake eyelashes" 😂
1 -
You know what, sure they can add a drag queen. I'm done
1 -
Diversity in my DBD?? no thank you.
Do straight people not realize the adversity LGBT people face on a regular basis? They have fought for equality for years and continue to do so even today. That resilience can fit perfectly with the games survival aspect and make for great character lore. If it's really that big of a deal that a LGBT character gets added, just don't read the lore. Simple.
2 -
I mean, let's be honest here. If OP has a problem with make-up, you can just end your post with "not when Clown."
3 -
Hey I have no objection to an LGBT character just to how a drag queen in dbd.
1 -
The whole point of clowns is to wear makeup. They wear makeup to be funny. There's a big difference mate.
0 -
Elaborate on this difference.
1 -
Why do you hate me?
0 -
You told me there's a big difference. I'd like to see the explanation.
2 -
Overdone makeup is funny as why clowns wear it. If you google clown I'm sure you will find many pictures of clowns wearing makeup. My point is that clowns wearing makeup is a tradition so The Clown wearing makeup in dbd is not at all unusual. However a survivor with bright and massive pink hair, huge fake eyelashes and overdone makeup being chased by a killer is so rare that it's probably never crossed your mind until now.
0 -
So make-up is only okay when it's following tradition?
1 -
Alright if you're going to twist my words I'm out. No, you wanted the difference and I answered. Clowns always wear makeup so you have no right in saying that since I don't like the idea of a survivor with bright and massive pink hair, huge fake eyelashes and overdone makeup being chased by a killer I also have a problem with The Clown's makeup. The difference is Clowns wearing makeup is very common while a survivor with bright and massive pink hair, huge fake eyelashes and overdone makeup being chased by a killer is not.

Boy are you in for a surprise: The Entity didn't capture a drag queen, they kidnapped a Kardashian! I mean, big fake eyelashes, the evidence is there!!!
1 -
Then I'm equally disappointed.
0 -
You're the one who said that Clown gets a pass because it's traditional for that to be the case. Why should it matter what's common and what isn't?
1 -
Alright discussion over.
1 -
Fine by me. Your posts have painted a VERY clear picture.
2 -
I don't like you very much
1 -
LOL So you don't like being pressed on your ######### opinions.
You don't want a drag queen because you're uncomfortable around drag queens. They make you feel "icky". We all see it, just admit it.
2 -
No, I have no objection to people being drag queens irl, just I don't think a drag queen would fit in dbd.
3 -
Even horror drag?
1 -
was joking up here, hue hue hue
0 -
The survivors aren't meant to be scary anyway, that job is reserved for killers
1 -
This is probably the biggest reach I've ever seen. My lord how did you not hurt your back?
Fair. What about a drag killer that looked like this?
Would that be scary enough? I'm just throwing shhh out just cuz I can.
Also, Julie Walker would be a badass killer.
