Back when Twins released one of the many ways PS4 was ruined was Survivor side there was a latency issue when doing skill checks, where'd you'd hit the check but it took a full second to respond. Well that's back after this recent patch

Try unplugging your TV from the power source for a few seconds. This has fixed skill check lag for me in the past.
