Prologue

I noticed ever since the first iteration of the emblem system — both sides have a vague win conditions. The side I'm going to work on revamping is the killer's portion of the emblem system because I see it has the most flaws compared to the survivor's portion.

General Community Consensus

Most of the community believes a win for the killer is based on the amount of sacrifices you receive in a trial.

  • No Sacrifices = Depip
  • Single Sacrifice = Depip
  • Double Sacrifice = Safety-pip
  • Triple Sacrifice = Pip
  • Quadruple Sacrifice = Pip

Problem Regarding to Community Consensus

It doesn't account for the amount of hooks the killer have received, which means the system can't tell the difference between a 4k with 4 hooks from a 4k with all 12 hooks.

How can we fix this without complicating things? Too easy!

Devout Emblem

Iridescent Quality: Quadruple Sacrifice with at least 8 hooks

Diamond Quality: Quadruple or Triple Sacrifice

Gold Quality: Double Sacrifice with at least 4 hooks

Silver Quality: Double Sacrifice

Bronze Quality: Single Sacrifice and-or have at least 4 hooks

This should reward both sacrifices and hooks, but the ultimate goal for the killer is to have all survivors killed with a decent amount of hooks. However, you aren't punished heavily for not having many hooks or sacrifices unless you don't have many of both.

Other Emblems

The other emblems overlap with each other pretty heavily, but the only one that's work keeping and revamping to fit the killer gameplay better is the Gatekeeper Emblem.

I personally believe this one is worth keeping because it keeps track of the pressure the killer applies better than the other emblems.

Gatekeeper Problem

Survivors will just rush generators and ignore the pressure you're causing, making Gatekeeper a bad choice in terms of representing how well the killer applied pressure.

This system will account for that, I already thought far ahead in the future fog travelers!

Gatekeeper Emblem

Iridescent Quality: Finish the trial with incomplete generators

Diamond Quality: Generators completed with at least 8 hooks

Gold Quality: Generators finished with at least 6 hooks

Silver Quality: Generators finished with at least 4 hooks

Bronze Quality: Generators finished with at least 2 hooks

Ideally, if you're applying a lot of pressure, survivors should have a hard time getting generators completed and if by some chance they do get all generators completed — you should have a lot of hooks that made them take a while to get them all done.
