    Now that is a tell tale sign of a survivor main wanting to show off to some people by facing lower rank killers to look good. Did Decisive Strike build their ego up too much? I have no doubts about that?

    Yeah the only change I see to freddy is an indirect nerf to survivors in the dying state being able to be almost instantly healed back up which will hinder one of his only tactics that he can rarely use successfully.
    I had high hopes that he'd be buffed/reworked this patch and that Decisive would finally be out of the overpowered zone.. but for whatever reason (which I don't understand why they couldn't tell us already) they decided to delay both those things. Both of which are needed. 
    They may plan to release the Freddy rework for the next chapter so the next Killer can get the Spirit treatment. That poor soul got replaced on her own release by Wraith lol.

    DS was recently in the Shrine it is a great perk and well needed to balance the playing field . They have NOED and We have DS  both of those are get out of jail free cards

    The thing is, prior to the Spirit being released, Decisive Strike got buffed (via a juggling nerf). So that's what I find annoying. If they won't nerf DS, at least revert the juggling change. You know, to when you could make them waste their DS dropping or hooking them at the right moment.

    This is also why game devs don't like to talk about stuff they are doing with the game behind closed doors. They make a promise, plans fall through, now they look like liars. It's why they keep their mouth shut on everything and instead drop surprise changes. They didn't like the changes to DS, so it's not happening. Yes it was a mistake to make the promise, but would you rather they break the game now and scramble to fix it later, or that we just wait for things to be done right?

    Game dev isn't just flipping a switch overnight to change something. They broke Huntress hatchets with 2.2 and it took them what 2 weeks to get the hotfix out after people pointed out how broken they were. If it was really as you believe that change would have happened like the next day or something. If you really think someone at BHVR was scouring metacritic right after a patch so they can change something the next day you need to learn a thing or two about game dev.

    Lots of things have strange coincidences. It's literally the basis for every conspiracy theory out there. I bet you believe that 9/11 was an inside job too because it's too much of a coincidence that the towers fell straight down, but then you forget that engineers build it that way so that they can safely demolish it in the future if need be.

    Honestly I hope they don't let the review bombs get to them when it comes around. I've noticed the survivors who have been super vocal about the DS nerf typically are legacy players, streamers, or have well over 1k hours. Sometimes a nasty hybrid of all three. These are people who have been with this game since the start, and it's shocking to me how quickly they'd turn on a game that they'd been loyal to for so long over trivial stuff.

    I play survivor 90% of the time and every single person I have on my team uses the same perks (including decisive). If decisive is changed up, people can learn to play the game in a new format or utilize other perks that are more complicated to use but rewarding (Diversion, small game, etc). Currently if it's paired with an exhaustion perk, it can be disgustingly strong and the difference between life and death.

    actual skilled players dont need get out of jail free cards to compete. they will adapt, or go back down to rank15 where they belong.

    Except that is exactly how the unregulated reviews work on steam. The issue is that most potential buyers won't read the reviews. Steam has so much ######### in its library these days that people browsing will immediately pass over a game without a positive score from a developer they don't recognize.

    No, what I expect is when I play with competent survivors and I play my best I should be able to get a 2k. A tie. 3k if they screw up end game.
