Slippery Meat Rework Idea
Alright, so Slippery Meat is dumb and terrible because:
- Deliverance is already the ultimate kobe perk. No RNG involved, very well balanced, and due to inconsistency isn't really in danger of being overpowered.
- Even if you run an extremely gimmicky setup to maximise the chances of Slippery Meat freeing you (4 people stacking Up the Ante and Salty Lip offerings) you're still dealing with something like a 48% chance IIRC of getting any value out of the Perk on a per-Survivor basis.
So, here's an idea to give Slippery Meat its own unique niche. This effect would totally replace what's currently there.
You've discovered a crafty method of interfering with the sacrifice process. When you cleanse a Hex or Dull Totem, Slippery Meat activates. While Slippery Meat is active and you are Hooked, press the Active Ability button to deactivate Slippery Meat, and move Hook locations to a random Hook on the map (Note: this probably shouldn't be truly 100% random. Eg. the 3 closest Hooks should be excluded, or there should be a minimum distance it won't teleport you to, ecetera, just to make sure RNG doesn't totally screw you), excluding hooks in The Basement. All Survivors are immediately notified of your new location. This effect also hides your Aura from the Killer for 10/15/20 seconds.
This Perk would be the ultimate middle finger to campers, and denies Killers of a lot of the potential pressure they might attain from a carefully selected Hook location. However, against Killers that are hooking and running, the Perk would produce no value whatsoever, and its activation requirement of cleansing a Totem adds an extra hurdle plus puts a cap on its total uses in a match. Thoughts?
