Does the Stridor perk negates the Iron Will
I played a round with a friend and both of us had Iron will and we could clearly hear our painful grunt even tho both of us had Iron Will 3.
The Killer used the perk Stridor 3, so we think this might be connected.
I feel like it wouldn't make sense tho because we wouldn't make any noise that could be increased through the stridor perk.

Yes it does. And yes, you are right. It shouldn't be possible to amplify the sound if you are not making any.

Yep, it does. It's been like that for ages.
Not gonna lie, i'm not sure if that's intended or not.

If I'd still had contact to behaviour I would ask them personally but I'm sure it's just another "feature" xD

basically removes iron will. theyll still have 50% less grunts of pain noise but it makes no difference

Yes Stridor negates Iron Will and this is intended.

The wiki has an explanation on why amplifying "nothing" does work with how the devs coded it.
It's very much an intended interaction between the two perks and the devs have fixed it when it was broken a handful of times in the past.

Well, the Iron Will doesn't really mute you, I feel like you misinterpreted perk's description. It just makes your grunts 100% more quiet. While Stridor makes it 50% louder, basically reducing survivor's IW from level 3 to level 1 (and with 1-2 lvl IW you still make some noise). Therefore, Stridor does not negate Iron Will completely (unless your IW is level 1), it just makes Iron Will a much weaker perk (counters it basically).

No Mither + Iron Will will negate Stridor
