Problematic Killer Add-ons | Rework

Huntress: Iridescent Hatchet

Successfully landing a hatchet on a survivor refunds you a hatchet.

Lockers no longer restock your entire hatchet inventory, but instead give you one hatchet per search.

Can reward the huntress with extra hatchets, but can be an unforgiving add-on if you miss hatchets.

Myers: Tombstone Piece

While in EW3, grants the ability to grab survivors and put them onto your shoulder.

Allows the killer to save time while not being oppressive like its previous version by instantly killing the survivor on the spot. To add on, you don't need to spend more time stalking as this add-on doesn't have a stalking penalty.

Myers: Tombstone

Entering EW3 multiple times gives you unnatural strength.

Gain the follow benefits while in EW3:

  • First Time: Slightly increases your lunge speed and distance (10% bonus).
  • Second Time: Gain a moderate haste effect (5% bonus).
  • Third Time: Can kill survivors on the spot who have been completely stalked.

Similar to Tombstone Piece, this add-on isn't oppressive to use or go against. However, it adds a build up factor which is extremely fun for both sides with counterplay on both ends. Survivors who poorly managed how much stalk they feed to Myers will be vulnerable once he's in EW3 for the third time.

Deathslinger: Iridescent Coin

Landing a successful spear on a survivor automatically reloads your redeemer.

Greatly increases the reloading time (25% penalty — +0.6875 Secs >>> Total: 3.4375 Secs from 2.75 Secs).

Might be too powerful, but to balance it out, it's very unforgiving if you miss as you're losing more distance by reloading.

Feedback is appreciated, as per usual! 😁

The downside to iri hatchet is extremely gratuitous and unnecessary.

Tombstone piece - That... is pretty useless.

Tombstone - will never happen due to the existence of the Evil Incarnate.

Iri Coin - .... who is even complaining about Iri coin?

The Iri head change is good, but remove the downside.

Tombstone piece seems bad, and it isn't even incredibly powerful already anyways.

Level 3 of tombstone would be entirely useless if you're stalking survivors equally rather tan fully stalking one player at a time.

Iri coin is pretty bad. You'd actually be buffing it here.

Me. Current coin is trash. Change it.

As for these changes, I think the downside on Irihead is too harsh. Maybe just increase the time it takes for the hatchet reload animation. Tombstone Piece seems kinda weak, Judith's Tombstone I like, Coin I'n not sure how I feel about.

If a Deathslinger happens to actually be running iri coin and hits me between the 15 and 18 meters they can honestly just have the down lol

The downside to iri hatchet is extremely gratuitous and unnecessary.

The downside has to be impactful if the Huntress can theorically have infinite hatchets without needing to reload.

Tombstone piece - That... is pretty useless.

How so? You can grab survivors on the spot which saves you a lot of time.

Tombstone - will never happen due to the existence of the Evil Incarnate.

Still possible if you stalk everyone clean and it's way more fun on both sides.

Iri Coin - .... who is even complaining about Iri coin?

No one, the add-on is underwhelming so I made it more stronger if used correctly.

Just reduce the max capacity of hatchets or slightly increase the reload time. Reload each hatchet individually is just a headache because you're going to miss at least a couple of hatchets.

Tomb Stone Piece is useless because it saves maybe 6 seconds. i mean, it's a nice convenience thing but not really worth an add-on slot when you can just use a stalk add-on to get out of T1 quicker or better yet, a duration add-on to make your T3 last longer. Not really deserving of being a purple.

The reason I say Tombstone won't work is that to be able to feasibly get the achievement, you need to combo this with infinite T3. With the suggested change, you can't stalk because you're in T3 meaning you can't get the achievement. It's "technically" possible without infinite T3, but so mind-numbingly difficult that it might as well be impossible.

In regards to Iri-Coin, you're following your habit of giving the add-on a severe downside. Tell me, why would I run this over Warden's Keys that lower it to 2.25 secs which is basically nothing, or double reload for 1.75—both of them having 0 risks and lessening the punishment of missed shots, while your add-on worsens it.
